It is the composition which decides whether the picture will be boring or engaging. Whether it will catch your attention, thrill you, put you in a specific mood, or will it pass unnoticed. The composition is nothing else than the harmony of shapes and spaces. When you focus your attention on the ʻnothingʼ around your object, you will realize it forms funny and interesting shapes on its own. If you feel the shapes are matching and there is nothing superfluous or overflowing, then your composition is all right. By focusing on the surrounding shapes - spaces, you improve your ability to perceive the whole. Then the right composition emerges unintentionally.
